One Trailer, Twenty Assets: The Slot Launch Content Kit

A trailer is the heart of a slot launch. But on its own, it only lives in a few places. The studios that get the most visibility build a complete kit around it, so every partner has exactly the asset they need, in the right format, on day one.

The good news: if the trailer is built properly, most of the kit comes from the same 3D world. Here’s what it should contain.

Video assets

Asset Format Main use:
Hero trailer 16:9, 45–90 s Operator presentations, YouTube, website
Vertical trailer 9:16, 15–30 s Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, mobile ads
Short teaser 1:1 and 9:16, 6–10 s Pre-launch hype, paid social
Feature explainers 9:16, 10–20 s each Showing the bonus round, special mechanic, max win
Booth loop Screen-specific, silent Trade show LED walls
Animated thumbnail Lobby specs, 2–5 s Casino lobby tiles

Static and graphic assets

  • Key art in several crops (banner, square, portrait) for promotions and press
  • Logo animation for intros and outros
  • Character renders on transparent backgrounds for operators’ own creatives
  • Banners in standard affiliate sizes
  • Game sheet with RTP, volatility, features and visuals for sales teams

Social and community assets

  • Making-of clips showing how the game world was built
  • Character reveals in a series of posts
  • Templates affiliates and streamers can reuse

Why build it all from one world

When every asset comes from the same 3D characters and environments, three things happen:

  1. Consistency. The player who sees the vertical ad recognises the game in the lobby.
  2. Speed. Formats are rendered from existing scenes instead of being designed from scratch.
  3. Longevity. The world can be reused for seasonal versions, sequels and future events.

Plan the kit with the trailer, not after

The biggest mistake is ordering the trailer first and thinking about the kit later. By then, scenes may not exist in the right framing for vertical, or characters may not be rendered separately. Define the kit in the brief, and the trailer production is designed to deliver it.
